Climate Investment takes a stake in Andium

OGCI Climate Investment has led a Series A funding round in Andium, a technology company focused on Industrial Internet of Things remote-field monitoring and communications.

Andium’s technology provides oil and gas companies with verifiable, real-time information on flaring activity from remote locations. Turning monitoring into an automated, digital process helps companies to stop unnecessary emissions at a fraction of the cost of in-person inspections.

Monitoring technologies are a core component of Climate Investment’s growing impact portfolio and essential to reducing both carbon dioxide and methane emissions. The aim is to help scale the technology via the OGCI ecosystem and, by lowering the barrier for operators of all sizes to adopt and implement monitoring best practices, have an impact on emissions throughout the industry.
